I'm trying to print on a custom size sheet. Under the "Page Set-up" button at the bottom of the print window, I have chosen the custom size, 13x15, which I previously saved. Under "Setup" in the menu, I have chosen my paper size to be "defined by driver" and the page position is set to "centered." Everything should be ready to go. I hit "print" and the printer starts, but only part of my document gets printed, and it is all up against the top left side of the sheet. I go back to check my settings, and under the "Page Set-up" button at the bottom of the page, I see that my setting there has been changed from my custom size of 13x15 to A-4 (8.27x11.69). This happens every time. However, when I choose a standard page size of Super B, the document prints just fine, in the middle of the sheet. I now have the choice of trimming the page to fit, but this is a waste of paper and I would really like to use my custom size. Why does the setting keep changing from my custom sheet size back to an A-4? Yet it does not change it when I use one of the standard page sizes?
Thanks,
Diane Jones
I have the same problem with custom sizes. Also, some sizes are unavailable. I did get a custom size working by setting the margins to .25,.25,.25,.45,

What are the dimensions you have set in the user defined boxes- also when you are setting those dimensins is there a box that allow you to select your printer that refers to borders?VERY IMPORTANT- when you finish creating a custom size, you must SAVE it before it becomes available I don't have either the printer or the Windows to test
Select the proper page size in the page setup dialogue box and again in the various print dialogue box sub menus. Also make sure your printer is selected and you are using the correct drivers.
If all of these things are in place you should get a long list of paper types in the pull down menu when you attempt to print.
- System Preferences - Print & Fax - Select Epson Stylus Photo 2200 - Open Print Queue - In the top right corner of the Queue window click the Utility button - Epson Printer Utility will open where you can check the levels and run cleanings and nozzle checks, etc.
On the machines control panel set to sheet fed (pressing the left button will change from Sheet, roll and roll with cut). In the print settings select your paper profile. On the page setup choose sheet. In the pull down menu you should only have basic paper sizes, no custom size. choose 20x30 and try again.
NO do not reinstall driver!!! the solution is much simpler!

There are two different ways to create a custom page size within the Epson printer driver on Windows 2000 or XP. The method you need to use will vary depending on what type of driver is installed.
CREATING A CUSTOM PAPER SIZE IN SERVER PROPERTIES This method will create a new page size accessible by all printer drivers installed in Windows.
1. Open the PRINTERS (2000) or PRINTERS and FAXES (XP) window. 2. Click on FILE, then select SERVER PROPERTIES. 3. On the FORMS tab, place a check beside CREATE A NEW FORM. 4. Input a new name for the paper size. Enter the desired height and width, following the existing format (#.##in). 5. Click SAVE or SAVE FORM to add the new form size to the list, then close SERVER PROPERTIES. 6. Right click on the printer name and left click PRINTING PREFERENCES. 7. Look for PAPER SIZE. (Depending on the driver in use, this will be found on the MAIN tab, the PAPER tab, or under the ADVANCED button). Select your custom paper size from the list. 8. Click APPLY to save this setting, or OK in Windows XP.
NOTE: If your new custom size is not available on the list of preset paper sizes, it indicates that the new size is either too large or too small for the driver in use.
CREATING A CUSTOM PAPER SIZE WITHIN THE EPSON DRIVER This method will create a custom size within the Epson printer driver only.
1. Open the PRINTERS (2000) or PRINTERS AND FAXES (XP) window. 2. Right click your Epson printer name and left click PRINTING PREFERENCES. 3. On the MAIN or PAPER tab, select USER DEFINED from the PAPER SIZE drop down box. 4. Enter the new custom size and give it a name. Click SAVE to save the new size and OK to return to MAIN. 5. Click APPLY to save the changes (OK in Windows XP).
NOTE: this method is not available when using printer drivers resident within Windows itself. If your printer driver name ends in "ESC/P2" you will need to use the first method to add the new size in SERVER PROPERTIES.
