I've tried to install "Dora the Explorer Software" for Digital Arts & Crafts Studio but when the installation starts, appears this message:
"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch".
What can I do??

On Vista you can solve this by opening up "Computer" right click on the CD drive and click explore. Once on the disk, right click on the setup program and select "run as Administrator". I was having this exact problem, and this fixed it. Good Luck.
It appears that you are using an upgrade DA&Cstudio. You first need to load the original programme before the upgrade will work

same problem ... it's the CD that came with the toy, not an upgrade
disk. my guess is that it is a useless error message ... must be
something else wrong here.
