If you have tried using different input devices, looked for loose contacts
in power outlet, RC Jack, cable and connectors, the TV might need service.

1. Connect cable to cable HD DVR box, connect video out of cable box to Sony receiver TV video in, connect audio L and R out of cable box to Sony receiver TV audio in and connect TV out of receiver to video in of Panasonic projector 2. Is L2 for composite video (yellow) or S-Video? Try watching a video on L2 with the composite video plugged into the back of your TV, if it works, then do the same with the DVR, if that works, then run the DVR composite video into a receiver, then the L2 from the VCR to the video out on your receiver. It's possible that the VCR won't record anything that isn't an applified signal. That's what the receiver does.

If you can first connect the Fios box via component and that will rectify the issue and still allow HD. HDMI is funny, if there is anykind of communication issues between the TV or the Fios box you see what happens. You might also call Samsung to see if there is ANY firmware/software updated for your TV specifically to fix such an issue with the Fios/Mortorola connection. If there isn't then the issue is the cable box since the TV works ok on HDMI with other devices.

These are well known for VRAM failure and HP extended the warrany for an extra year regarding this model. If they refuse to repair free contact us back..

I hae a Motorola 6412 that had this problem. I turned it off, then unplugged it for 30 seconds. After turning it on I had to wait 1-2 minutes before I could acces the DVR, but it work now.
