Hello, I have a samsung es55 camera and need to retrieve some pictures after they have been deleted. I have looked online and it seems this is possible through accessing the recycle bin, thought I can't find how to do that? Please help! X

I'm working on the premise that you've deleted the photos from your camera memory or memory card.

If you have and used them since, its unlikely that you'll be able to retrieve them, you could have already over written them.

Its unlikely that you've deleted to your recycle bin, thats on your PC, usually already on your desktop. Camera's normally delete for good.

However, check your pc recycle bin, just double click onto it, it should be on your desk top. Once open you can choose to restore deleted files.

There are 2 file recovery programmes available for free from "filehippo.com" called "recuva" and "PC Inspector File Recovery 4.0". Download and install either of these onto your pc and recover from you camera memory to your pc (just create a folder on you desktop".

Good luck.

If you really cannot find them all back from his recycle bin, you can apply a camera photo recovery freeware that can help you restore all your deleted pictures back successfully:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/02/photo-recovery.html
This data recovery freeware has helped many people around me retrieve their inaccessible data from a memory card or hard drive. It is really worth a shot!
If you still doubt, you can read much more detailed information of this freeware here:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/04/data-recovery.html

PS: In the future, I hope you can be more careful about your needed photos and always back them up on separate drives or memory cards in case of similar data recovery problems.

As a matter of fact, it is possible to recover your lost or formatted photos from your digital camera internal memory or memory card.

First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your Samsung es55 camera (or SD card) or taking new pictures.

Then find some photo recovery software, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc.

Digital Photo Recovery for Windows

Digital Photo Recovery for Mac OS X

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.

Step 2: Connect your Samsung es55 camera (or SD card, memory card etc) to your PC or Mac.

Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.

Step 4: Recover the lost pictures and save them to another drive instead of the source drive.

Best regards!

Where is my recycle bin on my Samsung Galaxy core prime

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime: Recycle Bin:

Hello.. All Android devices do not have a Recycle Bin like a computer does. There is no way to undelete files unless you use a Windows computer to hook your phone up to, and file undelete software on the computer to retrieve off your device.

Note: doing so is no guarantee that you will be able to retrieve deleted files. Once the device writes something over the delete file it is gone. If after you deleted the file, you did anything on your phone.. took a camera picture, saved document, etc.. then it may have written over that file already.

Download software of samsung camera ES55 for windows XP

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

My ES55 Samsung camera displays "card locked" and I cannot take pics or delete

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
