Here's a video tutorial that you may take a look
Yes, you can recover provided the files are not overwritten. And the best way is to try some media recovery software to rescue the lost files(audio, videos), here are some you may rely on. Both programs can recover videos, audio and pictures.
Photo Audio Video Recovery Software (for Windows)
Mac Photo Audio Video Recovery Software (for Mac OS X)
Be careful: Before your deleted files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card or stick in case the original files are overwritten.
No, not really; unless you just deleted it. While you could mount it on a PC as a USB drive and possibly run un-delete on the drive; new files started re-writing the old ones as soon as you began recording again. There are many undelete programs that will scan for free and then charge you to recover. That would be the way I would go so I didn't waste any money.
Have you overwritten them with anything new
on this recorder?
The deleted files often could be easily
restored back at the aid of data recovery software as long as they are not
overwritten by anything new.
As with the data recovery software, I would
like to recommend you a data recovery freeware that has ever retrieved all the
needed data of my friend.
I hope you could also give it a chance

everything important before you are ready to remove something in the future.
