SOURCE: I lost my manual and I need to know how to program a name and number

I just programmed my phone of the same exact model, I was searching on Google for a solution so I thought I'd share it with you. GE does not have a manual on their website for that model, but I went to the manual of a similar model (27940DC1) that has a manual, http://www.home-electronics.net/ge/pc/IB/27940DC1_IB.pdf . The procedure is exactly the same. I was able to program my new voicemail number in with no problem. Good luck!

I am trying to assist my mother who is blind. She lost the manual for the telephone. We need to reprogram the important numbers in the phone.

Hi cparker547,

I have looked for your manual online and had little success except that I found a site that displayed a particular model Sakar Phone. When I backed up the URL to the bellow link, there were loads of Sakar model number pdf manuals. Not knowing your exact model number I can't proceed any further, but if you can find the model number on the phone then I hope that the following link is of help to you.

Kind Regards

I need to know how to take out unwanted phone number and name and program in a new name and phone number. Lost my manual and can't seem to upload yours on my computer.

removing and installing phone numbers isn't hard. Just hold MEM small button down for about 5 seconds then use up or down arrow to arrive at stored number. Then hit select, & follow prompts (edit Memory #, delete Memory #, or go back). The rest you should be able to do.

Lost the manual how do I store phone numbers

Press STORE button, LOCATION? shows in display, press the memory location (0 to 9 or quick buttons A to C) then press STORE button again. Dial the number you wish to store and then press STORE again. Use the number keys to enter the name of the person you have just stored and press STORE again. I hope this was useful.
