Turns on (fans spinning, HD clicking), blank screen, no sounds

maybe it could be a frayed/broken wire leading to the visual/sound parts. if not then bring it to tech support and have them look at it

How do you know your mouse and keyboard work if you have a blank screen?

What motherboard did you put in it? Did you install a video card or using a built in video card? How many beeps? Do you have a spare video card to put in the system and try that?

Did you hear a sound beeping. If you can hear a sound beeping it is a RAM problem. But if there is no sound beeping that is a processor problem. You can disassemble or remove the processor and clean make sure that the processor fan is spinning so that it will control the temperature of the CPU to avoid overheating.

Sound like maybe, your input has changed , maybe from sd to hd .Try holding the ps3 button down for 4-5 seconds when you turn it on, this should reset the input mode

Here the same problem now.when powerbutton is pressed I hear de boot sound and only a blank screen is what you get

You can contact this companies regarding data recovery. The "Genius" was wrong about the drive being retuned to Apple, that will only occur if you have a system under warranty, and you would be returning it to Apple to avoid being charged.

Sound like a bad video card or its connection to the video inverter or screen.But mostly a bad video card and maybe high heat related failure.
