The defrost drain is probably plugged or frozen shut. turn off refrig and let sit open for a day and it should thaw the drain. otherwise remove the evaporator panel and manually defrost the drain. I use hot water and a turkey baster.

Why is my haier refridger not getting cold

There are alot of things that can cause no cooling...
a stuck tstat, will cause it to freeze up(electronic control)
a broken defrost timer will cause ice build up from no defrosting
out, or low on freon charge
inefficient compressor
door gaskets leaking
light switch not cutting off the light inside the cooling or freezing compartment
a bad fan motor(door) switch

I dont know how your unit works, but most only have one evaporator in entire unit..and its in the freezer compartment, and the cooling side gets it (coldnest) from the freezer compartment..with a door flap that alows cold air from the freezer to enter the cooler side.
Hope this helps..

I recently moved and my Sanyo Sr-3720 has stopped cooling all together. Neither, the ice compartment nor the fridge portion cools the air at all. I can hear the motor working, but nothing seems to happen....

A refrigerator should be allowed to stand upright for at least 24 hours before operating, after moving. There might be liquid refrigerant (now) in the compressor. These kind of compressors cannot pump liquids, only vapor. I suggest that you warm the compressor with a blow dryer to vaporize any liquid refrigerant that may have migrated to the compressor. Also check for any leak (oil) that may have developed by handling it.

Driping water into food cooling section.

The drain that carries the water from the freezer to the evap tray is plugged and filling the space between fridge and freezer up with water and then soon it won't be cold in the fridge anymore as it will block the flow of air from the fridge to the freezer. Locate the drain in back of the fridge or inside compartment under freezer and unplug. Should actually unplug fridge overnight to let ice melt in between levels.

There is water driping from the back of the refrigerater inside. Seems to coming from the unite on the top. Pools of water form on the shelf. What is the problem?

A couple of thoughts. First unplug the refrigerator and remove the back panel in the
freezer compartment and check the drain hole in the freezer. You will have to unplug
the fan and in some cases remove it to unplug it (Be very careful doing this).
you can use a turkey baster with warm water to check its operation. If the control
panel in the fresh food compartment extends to the back of the refrigerator, then
it also acts as the catch cup and may have a clog in it. Remove the control
panel (4 screws usually) and lower the panel slightly,
unplug it carefully slide it downward and out towards you and look for
clog in the catch cup and inspect the mating seal on the styrofoam as these were
often the culprit as well. (I usually dried them out with a hair dryer on low and siliconed
the mating surfaces on the earlier design that were styrofoam only with kitchen and
bath silicone for a better seal). Test drain with a turkey baster and listen for it
trickling into bottom tray. Then reassemble.

Water driping from freezer to refrigerator

If this is a side by side refrigerator, water dripping from the cold air return indicates a warm air leak, or some source of constant heat presence. Check to make sure doors close completely, that you have a tight seal along the entire edge of all four sides of both doors, that a light is not staying on when door is closed, that your ice maker is not stuck in the harvest cycle which turns a heater on underneath the ice maker, some other cause not determined without personal inspection.

My water dispencer is driping water how would i fix that?

Hello, Self- defrosting refrigerators disposed of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan water normally evaporate. If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment, then the water build up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator. When the water has build up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, Clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to drain pan.

Whirlpool refrigerator - we have a repeated problem of defreezer compartment which the door is not getting closed properly, as a result water is not becoming to ice cubes and the entire compartment gets...

If you're paying someone at least have them guarantee their work, that's what came there for. At least they should have a written warranty if the same or related issue from the original problem exists within 6 months.

A suggestion, under your fridge there are 4 adjustable feet which you rotate to set that corner higher or lower, it levels your unit from the uneven surfaces. With a long level (ruler with a liquid sight glass), place on top of your fridge from front to back. Rotate the 2 front adjusters to set the unit a bit higher from the back, keeping it leveled from left to right. This will force your door to lean back to the lowest level (back part of fridge). It will have a higher chance of closing completely to seal your freezer. If you still have sealing problem, use a metal paper clip and check the door seal if the magnetic strip inside attracts metal. If it doesn't or it doesn't have as much attraction, then your sealing problem lies within. Order a new magnetic door seal for your unit.

Good luck, please rate any suggestions given from your search of solutions for you problem. Thank you.

Water driping inside from ice maker

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.
The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.
