5 stars for an exeptionally cheap and very fast and efficient service, but unfortunately te code will not work on my particular mobile - a Doro 611 that is tied to Tesco Mobile and is "double-locked". It needs an "SP" code (i.e. Service Provider code) from Tesco Mobile which I cannot get because I was given the phone by a friend who has since passed away. https://sim-unlock.net/simlock/Doro/PhoneEasy_611/
I am wondering if you have tried another sim card in your newly found phone?
In theory there should be no problems just put your sim back in and make calls.
I am wondering If Tesco have changed service provider in the last 6 months? If they have it could explain your problem.
Asda mobile changed provider about a year ago from Vodafone to EE and my phone stopped working because it wasn't an unlocked phone. As it turned out I had to replace my phone for one that was unlocked because it wasn't worth the expense and trouble of having the old one unlocked. The old one still works fine on Vodafone and O2.
Just a thought. Another thought is perhaps it developed a fault while it was lost or maybe someone has been fiddling with it in that time.
There are lots of aftermarket phone shops around with specialists to give advice. The Tesco helpline might be able to help.
Sorry,.I don't know the unlocking code..But i know the place to get the code for your mobile..This unlocking code will be available in two places..You can get either from your network provider[Tesco] or you may get it from online providers like Mobileunlocksolutions.com ..This is the tesco service provider..Through this you can unlock your mobile easily..
You will need to contact Tesco as the network carrier and ask for the Network Settings to be sent to your phone, this will install all the correct settings for internet, email, and MMS. The problem is that the T-Mobile settings are probably still on there, which wont work with Tesco (they will do this free of charge for you)

It all depends if the phone is sim free (allows any network) some phones are locked to one network and need unlocking (around £5 - £10) The only way to see is if you put the tesco sim into your phone. If it doesnt accept the sim your phone will need unlocking.
Unfortunetly the only way to unlock it is by the manufacture/service provider...we can't generate unlock codes for that model pf phone without having it in hand with a cord and special software.

yeah if its not loked get a new simcrd in but not a tesco one and it should go but if its loked to tesco go to a phone shop and ask them waa they think and they cn unloket and help u!!!!!;p
