The red bead (?) on the stem of my Michele CSX watch came off and was lost. How do I get a replacement? Thank you. Patty

I also chipped the enamel on the crown. You should take it to the place you purchased it and they will send it to Michele (actually Fossil) for repair. I had my Michele for 5 years before sending it in to have the crown repaired and have since lost the stem. Prior to that first repair, I did not have any issues with my watch. I really think that the parts used on my watch for the first repair were shotty. Very disappointing, but what do you do?

The hands have come off my fossil FS3087 wrist watch. I would like to know how to take off the glass in order to fix it myself. Thank you

mcdevito75 here, In most cases the glass (crystal) come off or out thru the back of the watch which means you"ll have to remove the quartz mechanism, and that means removeing the stem, thse quartz stems are very prone to breaking while being removed form the quatrz mechanism and the cost of a repair may be more expensive then a whole new watch, shop around get a price from a small watch repair shop on repair verses a new Fossil watch.

Fossil bq 9011349908 cannot set date and day

mcdevito75 here, There are many versions of Foosil watch, If yours has a stem (winder) it"s 2 position, to set Day pull stem out and rotate the hands till the day appears, push stem in all the way, Now slip your fingernail just under the crown and lift stem to it"s first position this will allow the date to change. You can also visit Fossil Watch online at Fossil Watches.com or visit a small watch repair shop in your area for adjustment help.

My crown fell off the stem of my Gucci watch. How

If you still have the crown you may be able to put it back on yourself. However for a secure repair you would need a watchmaker to repair this.

To try yourself get some RED locktite (available at any Ace hardware store or automotive store) Put a small amount on the threads of the crown. Then screw the crown onto the stem as much as possible.

Let it sit for about 10 minutes so the locktite can cure. Then you can try using it to set the time or whatever.

If this does not work you will need a watchmaker to repair this.

Prices to fix this would vary.

Hope this helps.

Wenger Swiss Military Watch: small set-time handle fell off.

That small gizmo is called CROWN or WINDING CROWN. It is not possible to obtain it online, so, you have to shop around for it. Find your nearest watchmakers shop and ask for replacement. You may need stem as well.

Missing piece?

You are not missing anything. The stem (metal bar, wich is going into movement) from the crown (you say knob) is broke. The stem is made of one piece and screws directly into crown. You've been unfortunate to brake it and the tiny end of stem still in the crown - the rest looks OK , but actually it is what's left of the stem. This is not the job you can do yourself, so, find the nearest watchmaker and ask for replacement. Do not forget to rate, please.

Remove the winding stem/crown.

There is a tiny point (end of small metal piece called setting lever) on the left side of the stem (on watch movement, very close where the stem is entering the movement).
You have to push that point down with a metal pin or tweezers. Crown (winder) must be pushed in to normal position otherwise you will not be able to put the stem back properly.
So, do as follows:
1) Push the crown in,
2) Lay the watch down on flat surface and push on setting lever point,
3) While holding setting lever pushed in- extract the setting lever by gently pulling crown out of watch.

Do not forget to rate, please.

The pin used to set the time pulled out completely

The pin you called it is the stem and crown try this technic before you bring or send it to a service center.Put it back where you taken it out ,while puting it in wind the crown and push it gently inside so it locked it up by pushing it gently inside.Check it out if not pulled out again the stem and crown if not and still coming out there something broken inside
