I highly recomend it to those who are looking for a good , clear , more actual picture than those which make faces turn out with pointy noses and ears. Although it comes out fail at videos. Although it has a “youtube upload telecharger” and claims to have audio…there is no volume or sound in videos.

Yes it has the audio but that’s after you upload it on the computer. Won’t if you just view if from the camera. The only problem i’m encountering with the camera is the upload.

From what these people are saying, you won't hear the audio when you play it from the camera, but should when you play it on the computer.
This program should provide the formats and codecs required for you to hear the sound when played on your computer: http://www.finalmediaplayer.com/
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Audio is captured during video recording. Audio can be heard when the video is played on a computer or when the camera is connected to a TV. Itself the camera does not have a speaker so hte sound will not be reproduced when yo play the video on your camera. So tr connecting to the computer and enjoy the video

I found this information on Amazon regarding the camera and it makes sense but I haven't tried it. Since the camera has a microphone it can record sound but there is no speaker so you can't hear anything during playback on the camera. You have to upload your videos to a computer (with speakers) to actually hear the recorded sounds.

You cannot adjust the sound volume on the camera but it does record the sound during videos. During playback on the camera itself you can unfortunately not hear the sound associated with your videos. You are required to download your videos to your computer to hear the sound. Wish the instruction pamphlet told us that.
Is there an external speaker? Download the video to a computer and see if you get audio by playing the video in Windows Media Player or VLC Player. If still no audio, it may be the camera is malfuctioning.
