did you change the username and password on the router

if not
1) it maybe written on a label on the router
2) often it is
admin
admin

if you changed it , then you could try using the factory reset button on the device to return to factory settings

If the router was supplied by your broadband supplier they may have setup a username and password themselves and in which case you would need to contact them

Firstly log into your router from your computer. If you don't know the username and password, try the default one which is Username: admin Password: Admin. Check under Wireless setting and you will see the current password listed there. You can change it to a new one if required. Just remember to save after you've done any changes.

Username: Admin or Administrator
Password: <Blank>, try just pressing enter or try "admin" as the password as well.

Resetting your router

If the default username and password doesn't work it's likely you or someone whose setup your router has enabled a password that has been forgotten. Thankfully most routers will have a small pinhole button on the back or bottom of the router (like that shown in the picture to the right), pressing this button in and holding on this button for 10-15 seconds will hard reset the router. After this has been done setup the router again and enter a username and password that you can write down.

If you have forgotten the password and haven't set it, try using no password. The default password is blank and the default username is Admin. If this does not work and you have no way of guessing your password, you will need to reset your router. This should only be done if you know your broadband username and password as it will wipe to blank if you reset and you will need to type them in again.

If you had forgotten the username and password you will want to reset your router to default settings after secure your router with a new username and password.
To do that you will want to press and hold the reset button on the back of your router for 15 seconds or until router resets after you can secure your router once again copy and paste the link into your address bar.

If you have forgotten your password you can reset the router to its factory state and setup a new password for it. Resetting the router will wiped out all changes that have been saved. To reset the router, look for the small hole at the back of it. Press and hold it for 10-15 seconds using a Pen or Paperclip. Then access the router settings page so that you can personalize the settings.

For you to access your router you need a working computer that is connected to the router and open a browser type 192.168.1.1 to he address bar and it will ask you for a username and password. The default username is "leave it blank" and the default password is admin.

Do you mean you have forgotten the wireless password for your network?

If so , there is are several tools available online which recover the wireless key as long as you have previously connected to that network from your computer.

If you haven't setup a username and password on this router before.

Then it's probably using the factory default username and password, for that visit the manufacturer's website.

If you have setup a username and password before on this router, but forgotten what the password is. Give the router a hard reset. How to do that can be found in the manual.
