My Kyosho v one rrr runs great. Occasionally though when applying power it suddenly stops pulling (as if the clutch disengages). and the motor revs up to redline. I have to let off the throttle and then it catches again and starts pulling. Car runs fine and then halfway down the straight it's just spinning. I have replaced the shoes on the clutch but the problem persists. Sometimes it does it right at the shift point to second gear. I have replaced the shoe's for 2nd as well and I have adjusted the spring tension in the clutch allowing to to engage earlier. What could be the problem?

SOURCE: open throttle to full. clutch wont enegage for 3 to 4 seconds

Try a new belt, it may look fine but can be polished and have no grip left.

SOURCE: transmission issues (I think)

Use a engine scanner to pull codes, If none it sounds like the lock-up torque converter may not be disengaging at idle. Or you have a idle air control valve or TPS going bad, then repair codes by replacing failed sensor or shift control solenoid as needed. If no codes are present your transmission could have a internal failure. It's also been know that oil transmission fluid in the system will have a higher fluid retention causing the 2nd gear solenoid to stick causing the transmission to stay in second till the line pressure rises and drops back to first with a hard shift. Keep me posted be glad to get your transmission running again

SOURCE: transmission problems

This is what my 04 Kia Rio is doing exactly. I was told that the TCM and Shift Solenoid "C" is faulty. Am trying to figure out how to go about fixing that without paying more than the car is worth. My tech checked with the local Kia dealership and the TCM new is I think around $700. You also have to buy the program to tell this high dollar part what to do and that is right at $100. I have found that sometimes if I let the car warm up and then keep hitting the overdrive button, eventually it starts shifting correctly.

Ryobi trimmer Rlt30CES head slow down under revs

Sounds like a drive shaft/clutch type problem, I do not know the machine but suspect it uses a flexible shaft to the head has this union worn out or at the motor end there would be some kind of clutch which would leave the motor spinning on tick over (not the head) then engage on rev up. Perhaps this is faulty or has oil on it, could be its flexible shaft has got a worn end.

On my old B&D it throws a sprung disc out under centrifugal force to engage with its drive shaft coupler which at low revs the springs "win" to disengage it.

Its head end is easier first to check by removal of its line holder after that things are more complex with mine four screws remove what I call its nose cone to get into the clutch area.

If there is a wear issue run it at a gentle speed dabbing its head into some grass you may find the motor spins on but its head stops which will confirm the above.

Hope this helps..........

Pto suddenly stopped working on my late 90's 25 hp dlt lawn tractor

Sounds like your cable might of broken. watch the deck end of the cable when you pull the lever up. If it is not moving the pully, it is broken. If you are trying to start with lever still up, even though the deck is not running, the safety switch is usually up on the lever. Try disengaging the deck lever, sit in seat, apply brake or parking brake and turn key to start. Let me know if that doesnt work and we can go from there.

Troubleshooting moto guzzi stone

Just a thought as you asked...sounds like a poor throttle position potentiometer ... throttle cabled to butterfly most likely and if ECU dosen't know throttle plate moved you will see this symptom . If electric throttle , can you see(hear) plate moving whilst twisting , if so measure resistance/voltage on pot. . I do not know if resistance of position sensor can be measured while twisting throttle or pushing plate (bike off , battery disconnected or ignition off)

Clutch pulling

Your clutch is not fully disengaging.Adjust the cable at the lever until you have plenty of free play. Then adjust the cable at the motor until you have full engagement then readjust lever to 3/8 in play.Fine tune at the motor. It may take a few trys but you can get it.

1991 Isuzu 4X4 Pickup 3.1 V6 won't warm start plus shudder in low

Your flywheel sound like it has hot spots on it, making the clutch chatter. You might need to pull the flywheel off and get it re-surface. This is like turning your rotor, or brake drum. If you pull the flywheel, you will see discolor spots on your flywheel. This is called hot spots, and will make the clutch slip.

On the other problem, have you changed to fuel filter and fuel pump. It almost sound like your running out of fuel????
