It sounds like there is some electrical noise interference that would
not be "fixable". If though, we reconfigure the way that they are
connected together, we may be able to avoid the noise.
Instead of allowing the antenna signal to "pass through" the 625 we will skip it.
After following the directions, switching between satellite and antenna will be done by selecting on the SANYO "Input 1" for satellite, and selecting "Ant" for antenna. K?
Try this:
From the 625 Tuner 1- using RCA cables (a.k.a. composite cables, or red, white, yellow cable), connect to "Input 1" on the Sanyo TV. To see composite cables go to http://www.wowvision.tv/settingsandconnections.htm
Next, remove the coaxial cable between the Sat box and TV. (Sanyo "Ant. In" port and 625 "Out to TV" port) Set that cable aside.
Now, remove the incoming antenna cable from the 625 "Ant. In" port, and connect it to the Sanyo's "Antenna In" port.
Finally, scan for channels and check for the presence of CBS.
Once verified, test the TV by turning off and on.
Turn on the satellite receiver and switch Sanyo to "Input 1" to verify sat picture.
I believe this solution will satisfy your needs. Please let me know if it doesn't work, and I will need to talk to you about signal strengths, again.
God bless,

I am sorry, we have both antenna and satelite. It is a channel in the antenna mode, when the satellite box is off that we lose the local CBS station. And so far it's only the one channel we have found. Other TV's in the house do not lose that signal.
About 2 years ago we replaced the entire length of cable to that TV with cable intended for outdoor use.
Our sattelite is Dishnet. The receiver Dish, model 625 DVR. We have 2 one on this and one that serves 2 other TV's which are working OK, a Vizio LCD and an older analogue Sanyo. They are both connected to the second Dish receiver.
Both receive CBS through antenna with the Dish turned off just fine. The station is listed as HD 1080i. Don't know the signal strength because we cannot get our local channels through Dish.
It's just the one Sanyo that loses the one channel. It is only when it's turned off and then back on, it does not matter how long 1 second or overnight. My husband said if the TV is on an antenna station with the Dish box off and the TV is turned off and back on, the CBS channel disappears.
In order to get the channel back, he just now found that by manualy going to analogue channel 3, turn the satallite box on and then off, and then returning to digital antenna TV ( any channel) the CBS channel will immediatly come back.
So is that something that is fixable? Or is the only "fix" doing what he said?
The Sanyo we are having the problems with is on a Dish 1 box by itself, no other TV is connected.
(We have 3 TV's and 2 boxes, the other 2 TV's are on #2 box). We bought new highend TV coax cable to connect both boxes just a couple of years ago.
There is a seperate antenna hook-up that has a highend coax cable which is even newer.
The cables from the Dish box to the TV are the ones the installer used, they came with the Dish DVR receiver right from Dishnetwork.
