This is how to replace the lights on the KitchenAid khlu162m hood. If this is not you hood please give the right make and model # so I can get you the right info.

Replacing the Halogen
lamps:
The hood liner uses 12-volt, 20
watt halogen lamp bulbs.
Before you begin, make sure that
the range hood is turned off and
that the lamps have had sufficient
time to cool.
To replace a halogen lamp:
• Remove 2 screws from the
circular metal trim around the
lamp assembly.
• Pull the trim with the lamp
assembly attached down far
enough so that the lamp can be
pushed out of the socket clips.
• Insert the new lamp into the
socket clips and push the lamp
and trim assembly back up into
the hood.
• Replace the screws.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs up for the free answer.

Whirlpool Side by Side Refrigerator. How to change a lower light bulb Whirlpool model ED5VHEXVB04 - Serial#S03622264

Do you mean the refrigerator light bulb? There are actually 2 bulbs behind the cover. Most likely, you need to squeeze the bottom of the light cover up to get the tabs clear of the back wall slots. Then tilt the cover towards you while you lift the cover up. That will get it clear of the hooks on the wall of the fridge. See this picture, https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Light-Lens-Cover/W11239891/4591295 , to see the tabs and openings that hold the lens cover on the refrigerator wall.

I hope this helps.

How to open genie 1/2 hp garage opener for light bulb

Set a step ladder under the power head of the garage door opener so you can reach the power cord and the lens cover safely.
Climb the ladder and pull the power cord from the outlet in the ceiling. Press the two lens tabs in to disengage the lens from the power head. The lens tabs are below the opener rail on the upper corners of the lens. Pull the lens cover straight off of the power head.
Unscrew the light bulb from the light socket. Use a new 60 watt bulb to replace the defective bulb. Do not use a short neck bulb. Screw the new bulb into the light socket just as you would a regular lamp socket.
Slide the lens cover back over the front of the power head. Push the lens cover in until the locking tabs engage the top corners of the lens cover.
Plug the Genie garage door opener power cord back into the ceiling electrical outlet.

Need to replace the left rear blinker bulb on a 2008 ford escape how do i get the lens covers off to access the bulb

Check in the trunk area or the back end of the lens to see if the bulb is accessible that way.

Autozone says this about bulbs:

Bulbs used in most other lighting fixtures fit into sockets and are held in place by spring tension or mechanical force.
f19-42.gif Common type of automotive bulbs.
Bulbs are coded with numbers for replacement purposes. Bulbs with different code numbers might appear physically similar but have different wattage ratings.
There are two basic construction designs for exterior lights: those in which the lens is removed and then the bulb removed from the front, and those in which the light assembly must first be removed, then the socket from the back of the assembly, and finally the bulb from the socket.
  • Removing the lens from the latter type assembly could cause serious damage to the reflector due to dust and other contaminants.
  • Wiping the reflector surface to clean it can also seriously reduce the light's brightness. Therefore, do not remove the lens from light assemblies in which the socket and bulb are removed from the back of the assembly.
  • The bulbs are held in their sockets in a number of ways.
  • Some bulbs are simply pushed into and pulled out of their sockets, and some are screwed in and out.
  • To release a bayonet-style bulb from its socket, the bulb is pressed in and turned counterclockwise.
  • The blade-mount style is removed by pulling the bulb off the mounting tab, then turning the bulb and removing it from the retaining pin.
  • To replace a bulb, remove the bulb accordingly from its socket, and insert a new bulb.

  1. Step 1 Determine how the bulb is accessed: On some models the lens (the red or white plastic part over the light) must be unscrewed from the outside, and on others the bulb is accessible only from inside the trunk. If there are no screws on the lens, you can assume that the bulb must be replaced from inside. Usually there will be a plastic cover that must be removed in order to access the bulb. There may be tabs, screws or small knobs that hold this plastic cover in place.
