Hi,
"F30" indicates "DISPENSER SYSTEM ERROR" When the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position this error appears in your washer. To fix this problem follow these procedures.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. 3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations.

Thank you !!

The F30 code refers to a failure of the dispenser motor. You may hear an clicking sound. The clicking you were hearing was probably the dispenser motor switch going on and off trying to activate the dispenser motor.

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser.
3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations.

Error code F30 in my case was generated when the plastic link bar forced the teardrop shaped cam over a small plastic pin stop. The cam was trapped on the wrong side of this small pin and could not be rotated by the linkage. Removing the linkage and repositioning the cam solved the problem. Why it jumped the "fence" in the first place is a mystery. Time will tell if it reoccurs. It may be that the cam over time becomes too flexible allowing it to jump over its stop point

F30 error code...what is this problem?

F30 is a dispenser failure code on the Duet Sport washer.
It means the dispenser motor will not go to the proper position.
Remove the top of the washer and inspect the dispenser linkage to see if it is binding up.
Post back with what you find and we will check from there.

Whirlpool Duet Sport Model WFW8300SW0 basket won't

The following list of codes indicates an electronics communication problem with the washer: - Duet HT washer - F01, F03, F06, F11, F23, F24, F27, F28, F29, F30, F31, F32, F35, F42, F61, F62, F63, F64, F65, F70, F71, and F99

If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
  2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.

I would first replace the door latch/lock assembly, a number of users have and it fixed the F-11 error code completely. Its the cheapest part for this problem.

Hope helps.

My Whirlpool Duet ht Washer starts washing fine, it drains then it starts flashing FH and wont take in water for the rinse cycle. It does this for every cycle, it will wash fine but after it drains and is...

The first thing I would check is shut off the cold water valve at the wall and remove the hose at the washer.carefully pry out the little screen in the inlet and clean well, reconnect hose and turn water back on FH is a water inlet issue I am hoping that what is happening is that when the washer starts its wash cycle it is probably filling with warm (hot) and cold water at the same time even though it might be mostly hot,but when it comes time to rinse (cold water ) there is not enough to make the computer happy and you get your FH error.. Hope this Helps,,If not your probley looking at a new fill valve assy

Front load washer fills up with water

Jamesbestor,

The water fill selenoid had junk in it holding the valve open or the seat in the valve is damaged.
Turn off the power and water, remove two screws on the back of the machine and remove the lid.
On the back left top corner are the water fill selenoids. Remove these and disassemble by undoing the 6 or 8 screws ( depending upon model ) holding the unit together. Clean and reassemble, it should take care of the problem. If not, replace the selenoid.

Error Code of F-30

The F30 error code will flash when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position.

* It could have a mechanical failure in the linkage between the dispenser motor and the top of the dispenser.
* Loose wire connection between the machine control board and the dispenser motor
* Failed dispenser motor
