This is usually an issue with the TAB\TCP (Tape Carrier Package) film leading to the LCD panel peeling loose. You can't really see them unless you take off the front aluminum frame that holds the glass against the diffusers. You need to wedge something on top of the TCP in the problem area that will apply pressure (tissue or foam). That should do away with the lines. The other options are: replace the panel or have them rebonded with TAB Bonding or a TAB/TCP Re-claim Machine.
If the sound still works normally but the screen is dark then I would suspect the inverter for having the issue. If you dont have sound either then I would check both the power board and the main board.
Your model is a LCD flat panel which doesnt have a lamp. Instead they have a series of flourescent tubes behind the Screen which light the screen. The backlights hardly ever fail its usually the Inverters which fail when you dont have any picture with that model. You can get the inverter board and free technical assistance from www.tvrepairworld.com

If you follow these instructions, you should be able to program the remote to your tv.
Good luck!

check the fuse right next to the plug on the set if thats not bad then your power board has bit hte dust
that model has so many differant supplies it is hard to say what diode has gone or wheather it is just a bad puffy capacitor
is the status light on wheather red or blue if eather one then the fuse is fine if not check the fuse. if the lights are on then chances are your caps are gone its a huge problem with these tvs. if it is your caps than just replace them as i did and the tv is working like new again. These are the caps I replaced they where only a little swollen I was worried if they where even the problem but I changed these three and was very happy that my TV is now working like new again the two top ones I replaced with 1000uf 16v the lower one is 1000uf 35v ok well I hope this helps ya
