I have a proform xp 580. when I turn it on, incline noise comes on and won't stop unless I remove key or turn treadmill off. There is a line across the incline on the panel. Help!
Press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key.
Press the Stop key one time. The Time window should read EP:2P. Some newer models may also say FP, Pass, or the like. This means that it passes the EPROM test.
Press either incline key and the incline will calibrate automatically.
After completing calibration of incline, press the Stop key and then remove the safety key.
I have the same exact problem as above. I just tried the self-diagnostic procedure you provide instrucions on. How long is this supposed to run before producing a result code? It starts the diagnostics and keeps going, lighting up all of the lights on the LED display sequentially, and then it will dim all of them in sequential order. It repeats this cycle over and over; I let it go for 5 minutes and gave up. Any insight would be most appreciated.
Thank you.
