SOURCE: my Maytag Neptune MAH8700AWW Does not always spin
There are two motors inside the unit, one for turning the inner basket during wash and spinning, the other is a drain motor(smaller, found on base in back right area) It is turned on by the timer(or control board) to drain water. Suggest you first pull drain hose out slightly while running to see amount of water being discharged into stand pipe while draining. (it is possible to create a mess doing this, so have a towel or two ) Check you do not have a kinked drain hose also, easy fix but not likely. If not a full flow of water while draining you may have something lodged in drain pump or pump going out......you have to disassemble to look, need towels for sure. Be safe and always unplug.......
Usually problem is one of these two
good luck.

You may have tried this, but check the door switch, and the pressure switch(water level switch) to see if either could be bad. both of those affect whether the washer spins or not.

I would first check the drain stand pipe to see if it is clogged in any way. You can watch it during a drain cycle, assuming your washer is draining, and see if it backs up in there. The next area I would check is the drain hose itself. Make sure it is not kinked, or blocked either. You can check for blocks by pulling the hose off and running a semi rigid object through it. A close hanger, straightened out will work most of the time. If all is clear, and you are not getting any other codes on your display, then the pump is the next thing to check.

you need to take the pump pipes off to clear it also look for filters and clear them the only way to get to the pump is from the back,,,
SOURCE: Having a vibration issue during
When the inner and outer tubs are assembled, there is a fairly close tollerence between the two. When either the bearings and seal go faulty, it created a lot of free play which results in the inner drum rubing against the outer drum. That friction creates serious damage. Another similar action is if the inner spider (3 holding legs attatched to the inner drum ) breaks loose on one or more of the studs. The drum will tilt excessively and rub against the outer drum as well. Quick way to test is to open the door and push the inner drum up and down while rotating the drum slowly clockwise. If there is excessive movement there is the trouble. Truthfully when a washing machine gets to that depth of repair, i suggest a new machine as the individual costing to repair adds up to quits a bit. You need to way up if it is worth it.(somehow as nature has it there will always bee an additional cost somehow).
I'm an owner as you and do all my repair on multiple FAV6800A machines.
I don't feel from the info supplied that you have a drain pump/drain line issue because you do not take a "ND" error code for "no drain" during the wash cycle.....the wash cycle completes. I don't believe you have a stuck slightly open water inlet valve in the machine because I feel the machine would eventually over fill and flood the laundry area in time.
Is there any standing water in the wash basket when you remove the wet clothes after the final Spin Cycle?
I would place the machine in Service Mode and run it thru a Quick Spin Test (with a wet load) and record the fastest RPM speed the wash basket will spin up to.
You need the Service Manual to help you get into Service Mode to do the test. Are you going to DIY or call in repair service?
If you want to run the Quick Spin test I will look for a previous post on this forum where I called out the process steps.
