The File system that you have on your disk may be FAT32 in which case the maximum size of a single file can only be less than 4GB.

May be you are trying to render a file which can take up more than 4 GB size which will not be posible.

And if you want a higher file size then go for NTFS which can allow high file size.

How do you copy Youtube videos to DVDs using 123 Copy DVD Gold?

You usually download youtube vids as FLV files, there are plenty of free file conversion programs to change flv to avi or whatever format you want, you can then burn them onto a disc.
I have never used your software, so i am not sure if it handles flv files. If your dvd player will play avi/divx files, you could convert then to avi and burn them as a data disc using ant burning software, i use free software for this. CD burner XP and imgburn.
It sats this about your software..
  • Copy ANY DVD.
  • Burn YouTube videos to DVD.
  • Copy episodic shows like The Sopranos or *** and the City.
  • Autofit technology gives you the best possible quality.
  • Convert ANY DVD to DivX, AVI, Windows Media (WMV), and MPEG.
  • Burn videos downloaded from the internet to DVD.
  • Blu-Rays Upgradeable (Copy Blu-Ray Movies).
  • Copy DVD to Hard Disk.
So your software should be able to burn your dvd, there should be a HELP menu on the software.

Roxio dvd disk type doesn't match project type

Check the following parameters

- Type of disk--> it must be a DVD RW disk (Read and write), if the media is only DVD R, you can't burn it
- Your DVD driver--> Check if it accepts DVD RW(-) or DVD RW(+) or both. With this information, check if the media matches the driver capability
- Roxio settings--> In the Main Menu select--> Disc--> Disk information--> confirm that the right driver is selected (drive D or E or the letter your computer uses for the DVD driver)

Trying to import video from Sony Digital 8mm camcorder and get about 2 minutes into the download and it freezes up. I have a brand new top of the line HP 9400 computer that should handle the Roxio Creator...

Try using windows movie maker software, it comes with windows xp. you can then import the video into Roxio after it is captured. I have used the Roxio Creator 9 and I hated it, always freezing up. I got the Roxio Creator 10 and it works much better. I think the problem you are having is the Roxio 9. I had problems with it and I have 4 Gig of RAM and a daul core 3.0GHZ processor, also a good computer. You may also want to try rebooting your computer right before you do the capture, sometimes that help me with the Roxio 9.
