Saeco Incanto Classic Espresso Machine Saeco Coffee Machine Type SUP 021YDR Display shows Ventilate when I follow instructions and turn the Hot Water and the water knob the water is not coming through. Anything I can do ? I need my coffee please help. Margaret

hi,probably your machine is need decalcify. Try to turn on the hot water knob when you start the machine. Fill about 1 water glas with hot water from machine.If the ventilate is still appear-you must decalcifying machine with special liquid for descaling.

Place a jug under the milk frother and turn the steam knob to allow hot water to flow.
Ventilate will clear after a short time

You need to chck the water reservoir if it in place properly, rmove it and put back in place again. The you need to turn the hot water knob to draw some water out, this will revove the ventilate massage.

Just try to pour some hot water out from the steam wand after some seconds the veltilate massage will go out.

Having read the other reviews here, I was prepared for the cryptic "VENTILATE" message. (The manual refers to this procedure as "Loading the circuit", which doesn't help to clarify things.) Of course this refers to what Americans would call "priming" the machine. As mentioned in another review, there is a plastic hand pump supplied for priming, but that is only needed in the event that the electric pump fails to self-prime. All I had to do (following the quick-start instructions) was to select the Hot Water function; the internal pump quickly primed itself. i hope this helps Lee Davidian

Check the tip of the steam wand make sure it is not blocked. If not then press in on the steam knob after opening, if that works then the steam valve assembly needs to be replaced.

The leaking is your steam valve that has to be replaced, you can see this if you open the door and look up in the right corner there you will see water drip.

If not then you have a pipe or boiler leak.

How old is your machine?
How often do you descale the machine?

When you try to make a cup of coffee, starts the grinder for two seconds or is it dead?
