Go to the following link and look at page 12 of the pdf file. It explains how to access the settings so you can unlock the thermostat. Hope this helps.

    You will need to change Setup # 0670 to 0. Let me know if you need any more help.

Remove the thermostat from its base and replace the batteries. To remove the thermostat, grasp it at the edges and pull toward you. The batteries are on the back of the thermostat housing.
