How can i solve error canon Ir2016 (download standby) error

hi. the problem is a damaged image processor board. need to be replaced.

This means the printer booted in download mode. There are problem with the firmware.

You will need the support tool and a software cd for that model.

Please consult further with your manual on updating firmware or call the Canon tech to get the firmware updated.

Error message ir2016 download standby

Hey, If your machine stops the starting sequence as regular but then it shows the download message the only solution you can try is to reinstall the operating system to the copier.

you will need the correct operating system, a laptop computer, a cross ethernet cable and ready to proceed. the bad news is that the OS is only given to canon authorized service centers, so in other words you are gonna have to call them. sorry.

if that doesnt work out then you may have to buy new pcb boards.

We have a Canon IR 2016 J and in a beginning in the dispaly appears the message "Download Stanby" then after we replaced the PCB board appeared the message "System Error E354" what should we do to solve this problem, and if it is possible to send us the Service Manual with error codes for Canon IR 2016
