I just bought a new memory card-4 gb SD-K046. It says that the memory card is full but it is not. I have only used this memory card to scan pictures. I uploaded these pictures onto my camera and deleted them. For the first time I put it into my digital camera (kodak easyshare c330) and it will not work. Help?

The C330 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller. It does not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Windows XP or Greater is required. In other words you have to upgrade your OS to XP or better, there is no driver for 98

SOURCE: Gphone Error

first of all, see if the handset recognises the sd card....easiest way to do this is go to MENU > SETTINGS > SD CARD AND PHONE STORAGE and at the top you will see the available size if anything. if nothing, try to remove and then reinsert the media card and then try it again. if thats doesnt work, you will have to reformat the card to FAT32

do this by connecting your phone to the pc and opening your MY COMPUTER icon > right click REMOVABLE STORAGE/DISK > select FORMAT

**if your computer says something like 'no disk available' try disconnecting the device and select MENU > SETTINGS > SD CARD AND PHONE STORAGE > make sure the check bos for 'USE FOR USB STORAGE' is checked****

after that, set the 'file systems' as FAT32 > select START > read the warning > press OK > once complete, disconnect from the pc and try again!

IF that doesnt work, try to test the sd card in another phone to see if the sd card itself is the problem. if you still have the issue but the sd card works, go ahead and reset the phone.

MENU > SETTINGS > SD CARD AND PHONE STORAGE > FACTORY DATA RESET > RESET PHONE > ERASE EVERYTHING

SOURCE: bought 2 gig sd card

First of all, you must be sure that the SD card is formatted with the proper formatting as http://digitalgadgets.com/netbooks/7-in-netbook.htm indicates to be FAT 32. Then you have to down load the indicated file and unzip the file to expose a file called script in the root directory of the SD card. All of this has to be done on another computer with an unzip program installed. Then you place the properly fixed SD card in your SYNET07526, that card goes in upside down!, then you turn on your SYNET07526, and away you go. Texts not working on samsung galaxy y , storage data says full , even though it has been emptied,m no texts are coming in, also the option for moving apps to sd card is greyed out

Your phone can't use the mini SD card as internal memory. Your internal memory has to many apps, and to much data. (pictures, notes and messages) You should clear up the internal memory, by deleting apps and data. Most Samsung apps you can't delete. The modern phones already have apps, exceeding 10 Gb. So if you bought a 16 Gb phone only 5 Gb is left for you to use for apps. I'm sorry, but the SD cards should be seen as an external hard disk, not as internal memory.
If you thought I can buy a phone with less memory, because the SD cards are very cheap and will extend the internal memory, you made an error. New phones from Samsung now get more than 10 Gbyte of apps, you even can't remove. So only about 5 Gbyte is free to use for other apps and messages.
Next phone, take one with lots of internal memory, if you like to install other apps.

Memory full

If you are using the memory that came in your camera, and you do not have an accessory SD memory card installed, your camera's built in memory will fill up quickly because it has a very small capacity. If you have an SD memory card, it may be a small card with limited capacity. SC and SDSC memory cards are available with 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256 Gb capacity. Of course, the higher the capacity and the faster the card, the more you will pay. For most amateur applications 16 or 32 Gb should be sufficient. Optionally you could set your camera to take lower resolution pictures. That will increase the number of pictures your memory will accommodate, but there is a price; picture quality.

I just got a samsung sensory pleasure nv3 i put a 4 gb memory card in it and it says memory full but the card is empty

Hi
Try formatting the SD card before using it.Also, check the storage destination of the pictures, could be they're storing on your camera and not in the memory card.Make the SD card the default storage device.

Hope it helps.

I recently bought the vivitar 7024 and bought an sd card lexar multi use 4 gb. For some reason when I take photos and try to look at the pics it says no file exist. But when I take the sd card out and I...

Apparently, you have pics on the camera's internal memory. Your card won't work until those pics are gone. Here's how...with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert your card and it should work.

Is lumix dmc-fx33 compatible with sandisk ultraII 8gb sdhc cards?

No, 8 GB is too large. According to page 5 of the manual, 4 GB is maximum:

•When the term card is used in these
operating instructions this refers to the
following types of Memory Cards.
– SD Memory Card (8 MB to 2 GB)
– SDHC Memory Card (4 GB)
–MultiMediaCard (still pictures only)
More specific information about memory
cards that can be used with this unit.
• You can only use an SDHC Memory Card
if using cards with 4 GB or more capacity.
• A 4 GB Memory Card without an SDHC
logo is not based on the SD Standard and
will not work in this product.

The manual can be had below:

4 GB doesnt work

I believe this camera only supports SD/MMC cards, not SDHC cards. Go to the kodak site to see the detailed specs. Not all devices support SDHC - most new ones do - but some only support the older SD cards.
