I have a jrc 1500 radar and the radar will not power up ( i do not have the user manual and i just bought the boat that's why i never had seen the radar turn on. Best regards Dan

TO TURN ON RADAR Press the STBY/OFF key.(On page 23)

Need to know how to connect the 12 v dc power to the unit as I lost my power cable for radar 1000
As you look at the back of the display unit, the power plug has 7 connection posts.
Top left is pin 1 Bottom Right is pin 7
Pin 1 ..... + 12v
Pin 2 ..... - 12v
Pin 7 ..... Boat Ground

Draw down is to high
found my fault not i the power cable in, but the interconnect to radar dome..approx 50mm from radar screen a break in the wire, found it just by wiggling the cable.. the set wont power up if the interconnect not connected or is faulty

Raymarine 41xx - Message "bearing pulse error"
More than likely your motor is going bad. Inside the motor is your bearing pulse generator. Replace the motor and you should be ok.
