Connect the AV output of the Sky box to the AV input of the Panasonic combo.Look at rear of the Combo and you will observe input and output RCA connections.Using RCA leads, hookup the Av output of the Panasonic to the audio/video input of the Sony tv. Power up Appliances, and you should be OK.

Cannot tune -in my panasonic vcr. it plays tapes but will not record. I have wired together the tv, sky box and vcr in what seems the obvious way (and every alternative) but no joy so far. can you help?

The main aerial goes into the vcr,a fly lead then comes out of the vcr into the tv,a scart lead from av1 on the vcr into the tv.If you want to record from sky and the vcr has two scart sockets then connect a scart lead from the sky into av2 on the vcr, when you record from sky you select av2 on the vcr as your record channel

I wish to buy a combi dvd/vcr and freeview.must be amachine that is easy to use especially with video plus or clear instr for timer recording

Panasonic units are pretty nice and easy. They also have a DVD recorder/VCR combo unit as well, if you wanted it.

This is the model number for the DVD-R/VCR unit: DMR-EZ47.

Vhs dvd combi panasonic dmr ez47

If you select the HDMI channel to watch a dvd does it do it then, if not disconnect both ends of the scart lead and reconnect or replace. If the scart lead is not in properly this could happen, when you switch on the player and play a disc your tv will automatically switch to the AV/Scart channel, but you are better off manually turning the TV over to the HDMI Hi-Def channel for DVD.
