Sorry, no. When the camera takes a picture it saves it either in the internal memory or on the card, not both. Unless you copied the pictures from the card to the internal memory before you lost the card, you've lost the pictures.

If you hit the "last" button again, it should take you back to the channel you were on before you hit the button. when you lost the picture, was the screen blue? black? If you hit the "menu" button, does the menu come up?

Memory card formatted in error

Once the memory card is formatted, the files saved or pictures will be deleted and there is no way to retrieve the images.

I would advise that you transfer the pictures first to your PC before formatting the memory card.
