I have a pond which holds roughly 4000 litres. I bought the laguna pressure-flo 5000 to deal with the algae. The pond has been in existence for roughly 8 years and so algae has been building up for that period of time. My QUESTION: How long should it take the laguna 5000 to clear the algae from the pond. I do not know this model but it sounds like a bad or missing gasket/o-ring.

On the bottom of the UV head where you just replaced the bulb. There are 3 screw holes and a 4th hole with the button in it.

First, make sure there is plenty of hydraulic oil in the reservoir
2nd, no leaks that are dumping the pressure
3rd, no blockage in tubes, located inside pump housing.
4th, make sure operating handle is engaging
try these and if nothing works let me know.

The pump must be mounted nearest the 5000 liter tank. The air intake will be the air sorrounding the area, while the discharge low pressure air must be pipe to underwater level such that the air discharge of the air pump bubble up the water (aerate the water) inside the tank. This is common in fish pond/ shrimps pond/ and water treatment plants. Electrical wiring is
standard for the electric motor and controls.

Put the foam media in the base 1st. Pull to two cleaning handles on the lid up all the way before you put it on the base. Place the lid on the base then push it down carefully, alternating from side to side until it is all the way down all the way around. Then you can put on the locking ring.
