I have A sony dcr-hc21 and i need toknow how do i fix the screen that you put play? is that when i try to put play i can so i can't see the things i record

This does seem to be a broken switch that you use for play mode, I have one on my camera, it may be the tag broken off that hit the switch.

Do reset this ought to sort this very commen problem out, the menus will return then.

there is a problum in side the camera one is ffc whicis connect the lcd to main board if no then lcd it self having problum because thes tuch switches are in side the lcd please go to your nearst sony service centre & fix this problum

yes, seems its flexible wire that is bad.

There is flexible connecting wire between LCD board and main board of camcorder that is broken and requires replacement.
If you can apart camera and exchange that wire then let me know to provide you part number info of flexible wire for Sony DCR-HC21 Camcorder.
