Where do you put photo memory card in macbook pro

MacBook Pros before late 2009 contain no SD card slot for the photo memory card to be inserted into. Instead, leave the memory card in the camera, attach the camera via a USB cable and wait for the card to show up on the desktop.

Macbook does not see camera

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

Software disc is too small, macbook pro will not accept the disc

Hi, if the Macbook can't read the Mini discs, you can copy the contents of the Mini Disc to any USB Flash Drive by inserting the Mini Disc in any Desktop Computer's CD/DVD Drive. After copying the Mini disc contents to USB Flash Drive you can install in the Macbook pro. var geo_Partner = '843689b9-ba30-459d-9c4b-876924715b22'; var geo_isCG = true;

Hi, I have an Apple MacBook 13 inch. and I want to...

in iphoto under preferences, theres a drop down saying- connecting camera opens. make sure iphoto is selected.
Iphoto will automatically open when you plug in your camera, and ask you if you want to import your photos.
Also, sometimes I would plug in my camera and forget to turn the power on to it, (lol), so make sure your camera is turned on...;)

Software not compatible with macbook

Save the aggrivation. Go to Walmart and purchase a SanDisk multiple card reader (about $25) usually found in the camera section. It plugs into a USB port on you Mac. Just take the memory card out of your camera and put in the appropriate slot of the SanDisk. The memory card will come up like another drive on the desktop. You can copy images to your hard drive from there.
