i got my ink cartridge refilled but it's still saying its empty, how do i get it to print anyway?

So as MUKHTAR states, do not refill cartiges when they are TOO EMPTY as most of the new printers have a sensor in the cartige that tells when it is empty. and when that sensor fills that the cartige is empty, it stays that way, no matter how much you refill it.

on the laser printers, when you refill your toner cartige there also is a chip that is changed (the sensor) because once that sensor feels that the cartige is empty you will not be able to use that cartige anymore.

estimated ink levels are incorrect

The simple solution is to buy the HP cartridges. Often times,.. MOST times, aftermarket ink cartridges and refill kits are an inferior product. The difference is not always noticeable right away, but almost always rears it's head in the end. This is usually due to the ink being of a different viscosity than the original ink. Which leads to sloppy prints, sensor errors, leaky or dead jets.
Personally I recommend everyone buy Laser printers. With prices where they are these days, there is no reason for anyone to buy an inkjet printer. Lasers will cost more up front, but are much cheaper per page and generally longer lasting.
