No, there is a built in fuse that has failed and the whole board has to be replaced. Behind the refrigerator is rectangular panel where the control board is located. Not sure of the part number because of different model variations. Hope this helps.
If you have checked the light switch and found it to be working normally, then you will need to replace the control board because the light bulb is controlled by the relay switch. It is not directly connected to the light switch. Good luck
The part number for those filter`s is 5231JA2005A. However, you likely won`t be impressed with the price...it retails for approx. $130-$140, yikes, I know !
That is at searspartsdirect on-line, you may want to check around, but I checked a few places and it seemed pretty comparable. I have no vested interest for sears part`s, I just use them alot for my part need`s.
Hope that answer`s your question at least. Let me know if we can assist further here at fixya.
Hi, The defrost drain is plugged. UNPLUG the refrigerator. Remove the rear inside panel in the freezer section and locates the drain hole below the evaporator coils. You will have to melt the ice in the drain hole and flush it out with hot water. I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
try running 8 cups of water through the dispener. there may just be air in the water tank. after it was installed the people that delivered it should have done this but most of them dont
Dripping problem is from 2 sources. Faulty water valve or faulty water connector behind refrigerator. If the dripping is constant and doesn't seem to end, then it's a faulty water valve. If the dripping stops after awhile, then the water connector is allowing air into the water line causing the dripping. Have that connection checked to make sure that it's securely in place.
