Have you tried going into CONTROL PANEL. Choose KEYBOARD. On the first page it should have a keystroke repeat adjustment. Slide the bar to the side that says slower. Your wireless keyboard may come with software to adjust this itself. Try running the keyboard software program and see what is adjustable there. If you dont have the software and control panel didnt fix it, try going to the manufacturers site and download the software from them. Best I can do. Good luck.
1 . Look for Fn function key - Most laptops have this special key Fn that is next to the Ctrl key on the keyboard. It should have a blue or green color, easy to find.
2 . Look for F1 to F12 functions keys, they are on the top row of the keypad. Look for one has an icon that looks like the touch pad, which is to control the touch pad of your laptop. It maybe F8 or F9 depends on each make of your laptop. These function keys also control the brightness, sound, wireless etc.
3 . Now hold down the Fn key and the F10 key to enable the touch pad, in this example, the Toshiba laptops. You press them again to disable it
4 . If none of the above works, plug in an USB mouse, then check into the Control Panel -> touch pad or mouse configurations. Also, check Device Manager if the touch pad driver is installed and working properly.
Hi, if this keyboard is wireless try pressing the sync buttons on both 1st the USB connection device then 2nd the Keyboard (if it has them). If no joy then reinstall the Drivers that came on the disk. No disk then goto the website of the makers of your Keyboard and download the Drivers from there and install them.
If niether of these options work or the keyboard is just a plug in 1 then it sounds like the space bar is damaged... Ouch buy a new 1....
The plus (+) and minus (-)
volume control buttons on the touch sensor bar above the keyboard may
not work properly if the touchpad driver is not installed properly.
The
other buttons on the touch sensor bar, such as the play, forward, or
rewind buttons, may still work properly. To resolve the issue,
download and install the original Synaptics® Touchpad Driver (or an
updated version of that driver, if available) from the Drivers & Software link on this page.
They are actually two separate issues: I will assume that you have funtioning speakers or headset. 1) first fix your main audio problem by re-installing your sound card driver that would normally come with your PC/Laptop or (external) Sound Card. This should fix the issue with your software volume control 2) second fix your Keyboard volume control: if after fixing your audio system driver previously, this is still not working, then you will need to re-install your Keyboard 'soft' key driver that control the extended function of your specific keyboard: the driver may also be included as part of your PCLaptop but may also have come with a 'third party' non-orininal keyboard. Hope it helps & good luck!
It could be that your computer is running a newer windows that your keyboard cannot work.
