My karcher seems to pulse when on, could this be due to the low water pressure from the hose?

I do not have specific experience of your machine.
However, the high pressure pump will be controlled by a pressure switch on the high pressure outlet to the pipe and jet.
Pulsing (turning off) suggests that the outlet (high pressure) pipe is blocked or partially blocked. Try checking the nozzle and (with the unit turned off) clearing it with a fine piece of wire.
Hope this works

It's a Karcher presure washer K2.54, one and a half years old. Was working fine last time but when turned on now there is very little pressure through the hose and the water seems to be filling up inside...

this sounds like the seals may have been damaged inside the pump or that the water inlet/outlet could be damaged. If you take off the front cover (use a star bit screw driver) then run the pressure washer you will be able to see were it is leaking from and then you can get the right part to replace it.

The machine leak water from inside, and it does not have pressure.

hi,
make sure everything is clean;the inlet screen etc. Take a flashlight and look inside were the hose connects and make sure nothing is inside. To do a simple test;connect the hose, turn on the water, and WITHOUT starting the pressure washer, squeeze the trigger on the gun;you should have a steady stream of water coming out, about the same as a kids water gun;like a super soaker; If not, then your problem is something is restricting the water inlet,or if the washer is old, mineral deposits inside a passage. If it does squirt out pretty good, then your washer is tired,or you used a cleaner that's NOT compatible with pressure washer seals,or maybe the unloader is stuck, and won't allow the washer to build pressure...........If it's getting a good supply of water, the only thing that builds pressure is the seals, and the unloader.Other than that, there is a small passage were the outlet is,and that could be restricted with mineral deposits, but I would take apart the hose and check for debris in the line,to be sure Hope this helps!!

Karcher pistol gun has broken

i do not think there is a pressure release valve , sounds like the plastic inside the pistol has become brittle and has failed under pressure , you dont say how old the pistols are ? and if you run strong detergents through them .

Karcher k7.80 pressure washr

I have a Karcher K 3.86 M electric PW with a similar problem: water leaks from the pump near the outlet and the pressure surges on and off continuously at intervals of 1-2 seconds. The leak appears to be coming from a very thin crack in the plastic pump head in what I think is the "unloader" valve portion. I read elsewhere that if you leave water in these PW's and it freezes it will crack, causing leaks. I don't know how you can empty all the water out so I think we must store these PW's in areas that won't freeze in winter.
