Hi. I would suggest pressing the Num Lock key and see if it goes off, press and hold Function(Fn) button and hit the Num Lock key or press and hold the shift key and press the Num Lock key. Hope This Helps

My mouse pad cursor do move but it doest whant to enter if i tab on it

some touch pads have a setting that must be set to allow a tap to be interpreted as a click. Go to Start-->control panel-->mouse, and look for a setting that tells the touch pad to allow it to sense clicks on the touch pad instead of requiring a button to be pressed. If not, try updating your touch pad driver. Start, right click on computer, click on Manage, when computer management window opens, click on the device manager in the left pane. Find mice and other pointing devices in the middle pane, and click the small triangle to the left of it, to expand it. Find the one under there that stands for your touch pad, and right-click on it, and click "Update Driver software." make sure you are connected to the internet first, and let it connect to Windows Update to see if it can find a newer driver.

How do I turn of the mousepad on my lenovo 3000 N200 laptop? I am using a remote mouse & sometimes the pointer jumps to a different location. Turning off the mousepad may help?

If there isn't a button directly over your touchpad for turning the pad off\on, then there should be a function key for doing this. Typically, you will have to press the Function key, usually located near the space bar, and press one of the "F" keys at the same time. Look for one of the F1 - F12 keys to have a symbol for the touchpad or mouse. That's usually the one that will turn off the touchpad.

Lenovo touch pad not working properly

Have you tried pressing the Fn + F8 keys? This combination is used to disable and enable the mouse pad.

Mouse moves on its own

Your palm might be brushing on the touch pad while you are typing that is probably why the cursor jumps to a different location. as for disabling the touch pad I think that it is not possible unless you install a synaptics driver for your laptops touch pad.

Lenovo laptop touch pad or mouse

  1. Download the latest touch-pad drivers from Lenovo's website.
  2. If you have the drivers and utility installed, you should have an icon on the bottom right of the taskbar (may need to hit the arrow to expand.) If you open up that utility there should be an option for "Tapping" which is where tapping the mouse bad will mimic a mouse click. Try disabling that.
  3. Make sure you aren't bumping the pad with your wrist when you are typing on the keyboard.
