How are you connected to your signal, is it cable, over the air, satelite? Did you check all the cables on the back of the TV? Does the menu of the TV come up on the screen or is that black too? If the menu doesn't come up then your tube or electronics or faulty, I would not repair a TV like this as a new similar TV is now $100 to $150.

    There is no bulb in this TV as it is a CRT.

Hi this is common problem you will find the bulb needs replacing if you still have sound then it will be worth getting done

Look for a bad caps 250volt 2.2MF and a 25 volt 47MF near the horizontal deflection! And you may as well check the caps near the vertical IC as these are going bad...you have board out..you may as well do this. Then you will have a reconditoned TV with added years!
