Status light beeping once then twice everything works but not driving was going allright befor and fully charged

If the charger is unplugged and the freewheel levers are in drive position. The joystick should not have any flash lights on it, this indicates a flash code that needs to be addressed. If the lights are rippling up and down it could be locked out. some joysticks can be reset by pushing the horn button twice after turning it on within 10 sec.some are reset by pushing joystick forward until it beeps then back til it beeps this done right after startup also. otherwise there maybe something more serious going on with the chair. I wish I had those simple probz with my vehicles lol ...seriously I think ur dealer is right on and a lotta times the idiot lite will "lose its value" over time...sometimes also if a light close to the one ur havin troub with has a burned out fuse next to it, the current will :"bleed over"...my old 79 Oldz has had the charge light on half brightness now for 5 yrz!!...I keep cheking bat n alternator n everything is fine...

Sounds like you need to go to a different mechanic!! First things first. Your Battery is probably in a very low state of charge. This is why you can only drive a few minutes before it dies. A fully charged battery will give you much more driving time than 8 minutes. Now what you need to do is have the battery brought up to full charge. Once this is done then the charging system can be checked accurately. Keep in mind if the battery is in a low state of charge the alternator can be damaged because it has to work very hard to try to charge the battery. This may explain the frequent failure. If the charging system is ok then a key off draw test should be performed. You may be draining the battery when the vehicle is off due to a draw on the battery. Lastly if the quality of the alternator that is being put in your vehicle is substandard this may be a problem as well. All aftermarket parts are not equal!! If the alternator needs to be replaced then be sure to put a quality brand in your car. Make sure the battery is fully charged before doing so as not to damage a new part. Although charging system problems are fairly easy to diagnose the mechanic doing it must be fully trained in doing so or repeat failures are guaranteed. Hope this helps

Some lights go out once charged...most chargers are with protect circuits so once the battery is fully charged the charger will either switch off or go into trickle mode...So e new battery manufacturers insist on 12-16 hours charge before first use....some batteries are already charged...you should check with a battery checker...but usually those that are precharged cost almost twice as the ones that are not.

if it wont load your icons and freezes before your xmb, put it into safemode and try restoring the filing system. to get it into safemode...

hold down the power button while the console is in standby. the light will go from red to green.it will beep once flash green beep again, and then beep a third time. after the third beep the light will turn red.

once the light is red, take your finger off the power button and place it back on the power button. the light will go from red to green, beep once flash and then beep twice quickly. after it does the double beep, take your finge roff. the light will stay green and you'll get a screen asking you to connect the controller.

after connecting the controller, try option 3, or whichever option is restore filing system. this can possibly correct media loading and will 95% of the time fix the console when it freezes before loading up your icons(the xmb)

On a Nuvi 200W, when you plug in the charger, the battery status icon should go away indicating that you are no longer on battery power and that you are now running on an external power source. You should also hear a beep when you plug in the charger.

To go into charge mode, move the on/off switch to the left like you would be going to turn it off but only hold it on long enough until you hear it beep or the screen goes black and says "Battery Charging". When the battery is fully charged, touching the screen, it should say "Battery Charge Complete". If its not fully charged, touching the screen, it will say that it's still in charge mode.

Ok the lightning bolt is your power indicator: solid green-charging, Flashing green-fully charged, flashing red-low battery, flashing red three times the once green-bad battery. the "trash can" looking one is your hard drive activity indicator it will flash while your hard drive is reading and writing.

Take the battery out and have it charged up. reinstall it and you should be allright. Your car has discharged it completely, and it will need a recharge to start. The gauge is only measuring voltage, and not the status of charge.
