if its less than five years old then you maybe able to order it right from roland , older than that you can always ask them but you might be out of luck , a friend of mine had a problem with his keyboards display too and it turns out it had a external display monitor output on the back, ive rigged him up a small 4 inch tv that plugs right into it and now he can select all his functions using that . works
You need to replace the battery. It will most likely be a coin sized battery in a slip in holder on the main board. If you need help, here is ROland Customer Service contact info- Support Roland
After that, you can reset the E96 back to the factory settings by following the directions here- Roland 96 Initializing the 70 86 96 Restoring the Factory Settings...
you might of fried the circuit board. if you see fuses and they look burnt out you can try n replace em but my best surruestion is to calll roland and play dumb and tell them it just stopped working chances are its under warranty and youll get a new one.
More than likely you would have to contact the manufacture [Roland} for a replacement part.
You can also search ebay.com for the product in question, maybe you'll find something inexpensive that you can use for parts.
