I have a brand new palm pre from sprint I really don't know much about phones but this one doesn't have a SIM Card...I'm living in germany i prepaid phone now..but i want to use my asome palm...

may it's possible! i would like to suggest you first download pc suite from palm website and than format phone software and reinstall the software. when you installing software just select india for select your region option.

if you are tyring to put the phone into developer mode to add homebrew apps (apps not in the palm catalog), yes there is.

well if you have set a new one yes... the original was 1234

try doing a factory reset.. open the door to the SD card and use the reset btn to see if that clears it.

Absolutely not. SPrint is a CDMA network, meaning the device must be manufactured specifically for that network. CDMA networks use HEXidecimal codes to connect to the network. This is the same type of service used by cricket, verizon, and many other providers that use CDMA devices. Your Palm can be "flashed" with the proper setting to work on any of these networks, but as long as the network requires a sim card it will not. Sim cards are used on GSM networks, which run on a totally different frequency lvl.

THe only way to make the device work is to be a phone genius and "hack" a sim port onto the board. Unfortunately, this is so complicated, i have only been able to it to one device (a first generation palm centro) and the device experienced many problems and after a few months, shorted out completely.

SO DONT TRY!!!! your best bet is to find someone that will trade you straigh out.
