Resetting sales tax rate on Casio HR8TE calculator?

Have lost manual and cannot reset the tax rate. Electricity went off and machine defaulted to the set rate which is incorrect. Please tell me the procedure so I can reset this rate. Thank you

Thank you very much! It is a good thing that you used the parenthesis (set/%) because I was using (set/dec) which, of course, is why it didn't work.

Press the CA button twice. Then push and hold down the %/set key until the 0 disappears and reappears. Then type in your tax rate and the percent key (eg: 8.25%) and then press the TAX+ key. It should save the new tax rate. Posted on Feb 25, 2008

Casio hr 100tm manual

Try to use the AC adapter and plug it to your household current and the calculator and the "E" should go away! Not sure if it's the batteries or just what? It happened to me and that's how I solved that problem! Good luck, let me know!

Casio Register 265P - Doubling Tax in Sales Total

Hi.
That could be tricky. we will need to go through the tax setup in your machine.

My first questions are:

1. Does it happen on all department (item buttons)?
2. Does it happen no matter what payment method you use (cash, check, credit)?
3. When you push Subtotal, does it show the wrong amount then, or only when you press a payment type to open the drawer?
