HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer Logo

HP 6110 won't print. Print job is queued and says it's printing.

HP 6110 with windows XP. Print job is stuck in queue. Says it's printing but doesn't. Can't print a test page from printer manually. Can't print from command line. Can't print from Word, Textpad, or Notepad. HP diagnostic says all is well. Printer will copy, but won't print from computer.

This has happened occasionally in the past and was correctable by re-starting computer or re-installing printer. Those don't work this time.

Hooked printer to another computer with same results. Anything I can do to isolate the problem and correct it? Or is the printer dead for good?

SOURCE: HP LaserJet 1020 Prints a Black Line when at the right side when using Ms Word 2007

First, you need to try update the latest microsoft office patch file from microsoft or you can open the MS Word, go to "HELP" menu select the update MS Word or related. Try the latest patch file first. You also can try windows update and select custom update, see their list have this problem solution or not. Second, you need to go to HP website download latest driver for LJ1020 and suitable use on Vista. Lastly, if still not solve the problem, you need this problem/issue to microsoft, ask their solutions. Kent

SOURCE: Print jobs are not getting queued.

This is late but most likely the IP address is set to DHCP or auto and the printer is changing the IP address.
You need to set it to manual, and set the IP address static.
Those machines will change the IP address by itself.
Sometime even when you have set it manually it will change back to auto.

Please perform the below steps to clear the queue and print from the computer.

Before performing the below steps try to make a copy from the all-in-one to check the hardware functionality.

Remove the USB cable from the computer.

Now click on start --> control panel --> printers and faxes --> right click on the HP C4100 printer icon and delete all the pending documents.

Now again click on start --> run --> type services.msc and press enter --> locate print spooler in services window and right click on the print spooler and click on refresh or stop the spooler service and then restart the spooler.

Now open the printers and faxes folder, right click on the printer icon --> properties --> advanced tab --> enable print directly to printer and click OK.

Now connect the USB cable back to the computer and then try to print from the notepad and check for the result.

SOURCE: Cannot print with wirelessly networked printer

hi,

if printing from 2 other computer works fine, will i think its not an issue of IP address which changes somehow. but anyways, try to check if you still have other printer drivers under "PRINTERS" (see control panel). it should say HP Photosmart c6100 series. If you also have there a printer icon that says HP Photosmart c6100 series Copy1, try using it (right click on that icon and choose Set as Default Printer). If you only have HP Photosmart c6100 series under PRINTERS, try to right click, then choose properties. When Properties box is open, click on PORTS tab. then click on configure ports below. Try to type in the IP address of the printer under "Printer Name or Host name or IP address". make sure that you already printed network configuration page to get the exact ip address of the printer, Dont know how to print? do this.

PRINTING NETWORK CONFIGURATION PAGE
1. press setup, then scroll down and look for Network.
2. press okay on network, it will give you the first option "VIew network settings".
3. press okay on it, and it will give you the first option "Print network configuration page."
4. choose that and press okay. it will print the network config page. from this document, you will be able to see the IP address of the printer.

Please let me know if the issue is still not resolve so that i can go ahead and give you another possible solution.

Thank you so much.

HP LaserJet 4100 for all applications in windows 7. When I go to print a document and click on print. The print screen exits, the print job doesn't processes, and the print queue stays empty. Noth

I have Windows 7 and I found that running troubleshoot on the printer works most of the time and keeps me from having to shut everything down.

Go to
  • Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers
  • In the upper left of the window select File
  • In the drop down list select Troubleshoot
This usually fixes the problem, really empties the printer queue, and I don't have to shut everything down.

Print job stuck on the queu and dont print

look at bottom R of PC if the printer Symbol is there double click to open. Cancel all jobs, nothing will print if jobs are stuck. Once sleared try going to START -- SETTINGS -- Printer -- the one you are printing fromand right click on it. It will open up a window, go to properties and try printing a test sheet. if it still stays in queue, there is a problem with settings. Do you have more of one of the same printer then try the other one if it prints then delete the one not printing; or delete and reinstall driver.

Does it show "Printing" or "Spooling" in the job queue window?

Open the Job queue window, then highlight and cancel the print job. Send a small print job to the printer and make sure that the PC and the printer are communicating.

If the failure re-occurs, then clear the queue again and close it and restart i=the queue.

I am trying to print from my netbook using an hp printer. i am getting an error message saying that the print queue is full.

Yes, printer won't print if print queue is full. The fact is you are lucky your printer is giving you this message. Most printers, when queue is full, will just remain silent and leave you wandering what in the world has gone wrong.

Solution is to clear the print queue. See, when you send to print and you send another when the previous hasn't printed, they queue up. Now if for any reason the first fails to print, all others will just remain queued up but will not print until you clear the print jobs queued up.

To do, this go to start/control panel/printers. Right click on printer icon and select open. The respective print queue box appears. It should have all of the print jobs listed there in the box. On the menu bar click on printer and select "Cancel all documents." A box appears asking you to confirm if you want to cancel, answer yes. Then try to print again. If it still fails to print restart your PC and try to print again.
