LG TV screen problem

We were watching an lg tv. There was a crack sound and the tv screen went blank. Wiggling the wires did not rectify the problem. Does this mean the screen has blown?

I have Lg 29" color tv.and now the screen display size is getting increased(wider) . so the image(video) is getting pix LG TV screen problem - yoursnavin.jpg elated. and also channel logos are cutting off from the screen./,,........ please let me know wats the problem and how to solve it .......

Again,, ysus board easy fix around 100£ on ebay,,
ebay this,,

a guy in london does a swop out 64.99 & 12.00 postage,,

if your from the uk a easy fix,,

the pop is a hybrid chip under the heatsink has gone faulty and FS2 FUSE WILL BE DEAD,

replacing this fuse will cause more faults if this is blow u can either replace with hybrid chip .. of easyiest was is to buy complete board,,

Take the screen off connect power and watch LEDs if any don't flash its LEDs only needed to change faulty strip if they all flash its probably t con boards.

Lg led tv stopped working suddenly. screen went blank and sound went off then came back on with no screen. tried flashlight test, nothing. also stand by light flashes 3 times when turning on.

No picture

It's obvious that the power supply failed. The most common parts in a power supply are a thermistor or a voltage rectifier, possibly even a voltage regulator. diodes or resistors can act as fuses too. A ringing sound can come from a fixed coil that isn't kept still with enough epoxy. Hope this helps.

While watching the TV the screen went blank and there wasn't any sound. I've checked all the cables. I tried turning it off and back on but when I did this the power light flashes 27 times before...

The tv power supply board it is shorted and dead.That the board where the tv power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shojimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish tv power supply board for the replacement.

Have an LG 47lb5d flat screen and while watching tv, I heard a "pop" and the screen went black/blank with no sound. It sat in garage now for months. Turned on the other day and same ol black/blank screen!...

check and replace Transistor Horizontal and power Regulator, one of them must have been damaged / short

3 year old 42in LG LCD TV scrren went blank

You will either have a fault with the inverter board which drives the backlights or a faulty backlight in the screen. If the problem is a backlight then a replacement screen is the only cure. One or the other is breaking down after it has been opn for a certain period of time, have an engineer call out & check with a tester if it is a screen problem.
