Vizio 50" Plasma VP50HDTV20A comes on with sound but screen shows rainbow colours before pictures comes and picture is blurry when on and not in full color. All the inputs have the same display.

If this is an old Plasma TV that you picked up somewhere, it may just be too old. Plasma screens degrade over time.

New plasma TV's are not common anymore, so I am assuming this one has been around for awile.

If it is new, take it back to where you bought it.

Did you test main pcb before replacing ysus an zsus, the problem may be there.

Sound but no picture

ok, dim the lights in the room and turn on the set. Does the screen light slightly? If it doesn't most likely you have a bad Y Sustain board at the very least. Some of these old Y Sustain boards can be quite pricey, just giving you a heads up.

Yes it's. Just bring it 2the nearst electronic shop for repair. T power my be spoile or some insect get inside n make it burn. It's ever happen 2 my tv also.

those plasma hove a lot of problems with the y-sus board signal board take you meter check cops ics. was it flashing black and white before you replaced the boards

I repair a tv just like yours with same problem. I replace the x and y sustains boards. If you do replace them, please make sure it is disconnected from power outlet.

Vizio 50 inch plasma tv has no picture and no sound. When the power button is pushed the picture flashes and the screen goes black. Power light stays green but there is no picture.

check the Y-sus and Z-sus board

VIZIO 50" PLASMA

Wow. This is more comon than I thought. My 50" Vizio plasma just went out as will after a loud pop noise. Power button is still lit. Sound continue to come through but no picture. I will dig into it and see if I can find a appropriate solution.
