Does not dry all the dishes

What temp is your water? You may need to set your water heater up a notch. Try running the dishwasher on the "sani rinse" since this heats to 160 and see if they are drier. Is your heating element working? During the dry cycle with the heat dry on I would open the door and put my hand next to the element to see if it seemed hot. Maybe it isn't working. Also did you put Jet Dry in the dispenser?and also if the setting is adjustable you can dial it up a notch or two. I also like the Jet Dry Turbo. It makes my dishes dry completly, even plastics and this is on the no heat dry.

If there is no heat, then the heating element may be bad. You can get the part, and view diagram at partselect website.

White streaking is caused by too much rinse agent. (jet dry) Most all dishwashers now have adjustable rinse agent dispensers, so you can set them to a lower setting when you have soft water, and a higher setting if you have harder water. The adjustment is generally right where you add the jet dry. Other possiblilities would be a leaking jet dry cap, or a defective jet dry dispenser.

make sure when you fill the jet dry that you make sure it is completely filled. you must add jet dry,close door,lower and raise the door 3 times and then check normally you could add more jet dry because the air is now pushed out by this process. and finally b4 you turn on your machine make sure tolet your faucet run until it hot and then start machine. that should handle the problem. let me know if this helps by sending me a 4 thumbs up post . thanks

Hello, I've got a suggestion and at first it may sound like I'm pulling it out of my...left field. I'll tell you the what and then I'll explain why. Try this, take a rag or paper towel and soak it with "rinse aid" AKA, "jet dry" and apply it to the top of the tub and to a lesser degree the sides as well. I suggest this to all my customer's with new dishwasher's. Now the why...all dishwasher's require assistance to dry your dishes, some more than other's. Hence the need for an additive such as jet dry, it is simply a wetting agent which help's the water run off the dishes and as a result they dry better. So why put it on the tub ? Glad you asked. The reason is exactly the same, on older dishwasher's that have had many year's of use the tub has already built up some wetting agent on the tub just by normal and continued use, the new obviously has not. The only jet dry the new one has is the added amount in the dispenser. Over a short time of regular use the unit would start to dry better on it's own, this just speed's up the process. By adding the jet dry to the tub you create a seathing action allowing water to run off before & during the dry cycle as to not have water in the form of condensation dripping back onto the dishes when the cycle is complete, which leaves you with dry dishes as opposed to wet dishes. the unit is over sudzing cut back on soap and dont clean dishes and then put them in dishwasher.dont use to much of the soap with jet dry. regular soap without jet dry in it then add and fill jet dry compartment

First off, there should not be any (visible) water standing in the bottom of the dishwasher after the cycle is done. If yes, check the drain, installation of drain line, etc.
Second: The LG is a very energy efficient dishwasher, but in order to acheive this, it does not use a heater to dry the dishes. It relies on the residual heat from the hot water used in the wash cycle, plus a small fan to vent some moist air. It is imparative that you have soft water and use a product such as Jet Dry to assist with drying on the LG dishwashers. Even at that, plastic items (which retain little heat from the water) will not dry well, if at all. Plates, pots, glass, anything with some mass will dry. You may have to adjust the Jet Dry dispenser setting up a bit. If it is set too high, you will get white streaks on your dishes, so then back it off just a bit.

Are you using jet dry or a similar drying agent? If not you should be. Also check to make sure the heater is getting hot in the dry cycle, just place your hand over the heating element to see if it's generating heat, don't touch it as it will burn you.

this dw to save energy works this way- the final rinse will reach a temp of 161 F . the dishes have to absorb this heat. when the cycle is complete the dishes become a heater in themselves radiating the heat they absorbed during the final 161 F heat. If you have any tupperware or plastic dishes in the unit they will not absorb heat therefore not radiate the 161 f temp need to dry all the dishes. try to avoid plastic items and they must always have jet dry. this is the european way of conserving energy. on the old ge or whirlpool they had electric element in the bottom that would bake the dishes dry ....not these..but they do save alot of energy.. it helps right after a cycle to crack the door open release all the steam from the unit

It is very likley that your hot water heater is not turned up high enough. most folk try to save money and keep the kids from scalding themselves.mine is maxed and ***** run out of very hot water. though I pay for it.
these units run on 110 volt energy mizer and won't heat up like the old units did.
you can put in an on demand heater but that is 200. at the low end.price.
open both to your hot water heater covers and crank them up as a test. wait for 2hrs~ for it to level out.
