When the front panel is connected , the back panel didnt work . but if front panel is disabled the back panel will work. i reinstall the os and driver, it didnt work. at last i flash the bios , then also it didnt work. is there any patches for this.

Make sure, that the ethernet driver is properly installed and is Working. Moreover, do make sure, that the ethernet (LAN) is enabled, from the Control Panel Network Connections. Secondly, double check that the LAN is not disabled from the BIOS settings (Settings at the start up menu, before the OS boots).

Concerned.

Windows should reinstall the driver if you deleted it ... check your Device Manager ... should tell you all you need to know there ... I suspect you disabled it instead ... re-enable to make it work.

If that doesn't do it ... go to your computer manufacturer site and get the latest driver for your OS. I would have provided a link ... but you didnt mention the make or model.

Surely your headphones are working fine. So it can be either software or hardware problem.

To check if any problem with drivers, go to device manager, uninstall the drivers for audio, and reinstall a fresh piece of audio drivers. Restart the system and now check the sound. If the problem exists, then its hardware problem.

Since front panel and back panel are not working, then it can be the problem with the audio sockets of the motherboard. You have to consult a technician for that.

Onboard audio is disabled in the BIOS
The BIOS Setup program is accessed by pressing the <F2> key after the Power-On Self-Test (POST) memory test begins and before the operating system boot begins. Go to the Advanced > Peripheral Configuration menu to make sure onboard audio is enabled.
Audio settings in the sound mixer are incorrect
Check your audio mixer software to ensure audio is not muted or the volume level is not turned too low.
The speakers or headphones may be connected to the wrong jacks
Make sure you connect all speakers to the correct jacks. If you connect them to line-in or microphone jacks, they won't work.
Audio drivers are not properly installed
Check Device Manager under the Sound, video and game controllers section for any errors associated with the audio driver. Reinstall the audio driver if necessary.
Audio to back panel is muted if front panel is connected
Check your audio mixer software for a setting that mutes back panel audio if you have plugged headphones into a front panel audio solution. Uncheck this setting to allow audio to both the back and front.
Sound Playback is set to wrong device
In Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices, go to the Audio tab. Check the default device for sound playback; there may be multiple selections. Select the desired device, either rear panel or front panel.

I suggest OS error. disable screensaver and use it. If going well then good. But i guess you start to get trable slowly after few days. OS error make machine slow. Run antivirus. If you feel so easy to work then format OS and reinstall it.

It sounds like one of your computers is working fine, and the one you reformatted doesn't. Is it Vista and did you get the drivers for the network card? Whovever reinstalled the OS should have done the drivers, but if they didin't, you'll probably have to go to the computer maker's web site and get them for your particular machine.

It's fairly easy to tell, because if you plug a cable into the network card and it either doesn't light up or is not detected, you don't have drivers or you have other issues. If you somehow do, then you can click on the Control Panel and Network and see the LAN card. It will either be enabled, disabled, or not there.

Once you get it to where you can see the network, now you can go about configuring the connection. I'm betting on missing drivers, but if you have any more questions, feel free to comment back.

If the sound drivers are alright, may be you have disabled either front panel/ back panel audio through a jumper on your mobo. Change it plug towards front / back panel & check again. Its also possible that the speakers are not working.

most of the old motherboards dont support the audio and mic port to work both in back side(back panel header) and front side (front panel header)simultaneously...

most of the old motherboards dont support multi streaming so you cant make both the back panel header and front panel header to work at a time ie i mean you cant connect both panel header at a time ...

you can just refer to your motherboard manual for the detailed information about it ..

in your motherboard if there is any option to connect the front panel header to the motherboard other than the back panel header you can connect it to that the detailed pin information will be given in the motherboard manual ..

if you dont have the option in the motherboard to connect the front panel header seperately then you must remove the pins connected from the back panel header and you must insert the front panel header pins .
this will disable your back panel audio ,mic,linein functionalities but you will be able to connect in front panel header , this front panel header will work ..

if the motherboard is not compatible then the system assembler will leave the front panel wires not connecting to motherboard ..

like this only one panel can work at a time ,
but in the latest motherboards the multi streaming technology has been introduced so both the panels can work at a time and can play different audio on 2 different panels ...
