I keep getting message EOFF000C and it sometimes burns 60% or 5%

The driver that controls the burn engine has become corrupt, the best way to deal with this problem is to reinstall the software so the drivers are re-wrote over and the burn engine becomes usable again.

Slow the recording speed down some more, sometimes your processor can not keep up basically.

The 60 second timeout is a feature which is necessary to keep from burning up the final amplifier in the unit. It keeps the user from ruining their radio. Most radios, including business radios have this feature. Continually holding down the PTT will also run the battery down very quickly.

It would be best to try getting a regular baby monitor.
