There is a way how to do it. Actually I don't want to spare in public forum, as this could lead to unpleasent effect - Like unapproved person comming to (your) shop and reseting devices.
Just check the site support.symbol.com for MK500 and if you are a technician, you will find your answer quickly.
My apologize to people searching for the easy solutions. This is only for technicians.

Hi Max, Although your answer is decade old but I need your support now. I have MK590 Kiosk and i want to rest it on the default setup. Can you help me? I am searching on internet although the device is very old and even company has been purchased by the Zebra Technologies. I have tried to download the firmware update from the company site but they don't have these serial number on their record. I think it is because we haver kiosks with Symbol label. I need your support Thanks

save as "ipaddress.reg" copy to Applcation drive and restart it

Here's some steps I found to get your Boost Moto I1 back up and running in a hurry:

To reset through software:

Press the App tab on the home screen
Tap Settings
Tap SD Card & Phone Storage
Tap Master Clear
Tap Reset Phone

To reset through Hardware:

Power the phone all the way off (remove battery if necessary)
Press and hold Volume Up, Volume Down, (Green) Send Key, and the OK key.
Press and hold the Power/End Call key.
Release all keys after a few seconds.
If performed correctly, the Motorola emblem will appear, with an image of an arrow pointing to a phone icon.
The phone will restart multiple times, eventually returning to the initial setup screen.

If the phone still isn't working after the hardware reset, perform the steps in the software reset to complete the wipe in full.

How to unlock my security code

ranjithnairv + hardknox - press the menu key in the middle of the keypad, scroll to initial setup then select either master clear or reset and enter the 000000 as the security default codes.

all others take the phone to a mobile service center and have them reset the phone codes back to the originals for you.

How do i master reset my phone?

unfortunately there is NO pin hole to reset the mot v3,
just goto initial setup and chose master reset and use the sec code 000000
if u have changed the security code then use the one u changed it to, the motorola V3 is not a wifi modem :/ There is not pinhole
to reset the phone :O

if u have changed the security code and cant remember it
msg me and i will show u how to retrieve it.
