Remote control became useless suddenly

I was looking a non original dvd movie but suddenly the remote control got useless, but the console works normally. It looks like it has a ''virus''. It´s this possible ? How can i fix my sungale 2310 dvd player ? My remote control is original (KM-168)

I forgot to add that i did replace batteries, but it didn´t work either. The buttons in the dvd player works normally, but the remote control remains useless. It looks like its control code has been "erased" from its memory. A friend told me that maybe if I desconnect the dvd player at least for a week , the problem will be fixed. Please, help me !What should I do ?

You use original or duplicate cds it doesnt harm either remote or dvd player.try by replacing batteries of r/c

do you have a remote tester? if yes then check that remote is sending signals or not, if no then remote is faulty open it and see battery contacts they must be rusty or may be battery leakage in remote

Did you check the LED sensor it is similar to a small bulb you can check it without removing it in the pcb by using a camera or a cellphone with a camera. Point the sensor in the camera then try to press any buttons then look at the monitor you will see a red light that glows if not your led sensor is defective try to replace it. Do not throw your original remote because it is hard to find a compatible remote control for your unit. Universal remote control has limited function not like the original.

I own a Toshiba SD-1200 DVD player but have lost the remote control. Without the remote control it is useless; you cannot play DVDs on it because there's no "Enter" button on the DVD player...

Remote control doesn't work

The only thing that comes to mind is somehow the remote became unprogrammed. This happens with some factory remotes, if you reset the code for the remote it may start working again.

There are other times (both of these Ive had experience with) when the remote will just stop working due to a defect.
