I am unable to connect my Panasonic PV GS150 handycam and Vista business edition running laptop using a USB cable. Do I need driver S/W?

I am unable to Connect PVGS150 handycam and Vista running laptop. It says no device found when i use Windows movie maker. Plz help.

You will need to install the USB driver from your software(disc) to your vista.

and make sure the computer is recognizing your camera, check under control panel and device managers list if your product is listed under imaging devices, but chances are you might be having compatibility issues since it doesnt have an updater for Vista, hope this help. pls dont forget to rate. Hi, You need to connect the cam to the PC using a firewire cable.
It looks like this. http://www.ectech.co.nz/images/usb%201394b.jpg

After connecting, switch on the cam. Open Windows Movie Maker and import video from device.

first of all you should have your cd driver came with camcorder and as far as i know your driver isnt compatible with vista so better try to use windows xp. install the driver, plug your camcorder using your usb. upload your videos from your camcorder to your pc using ULEAD MOVIE MAKER. edit it and save it with any various types of videos. finish!
