Hi. Is Sims 2 installed in your pc? Before you can install any expansion pack you have to install first the sims 2. Try installing first your sims 2 software then install all the expansion pack that you have. Hope this helps.

What is the problem?
Are you using Download Manager, because if the load time is just getting longer and longer, it's the Manager's problem not your's.
If your are using the disk, make sure there are no cracks or scratches.

This may or may not be the solution. I had the same problem and it turns out my computer only has a CD-Rom drive and the Double Deluxe requires a DVD-Rom drive. If this isn't the case, then I don't know what it is. :[
